Mission statement and motto
Central government wants to make itself more visible, clear and accessible. To this end, we have introduced a single logo, a single website and a single means of communication to the job market. The mission statement and the motto both underline what central government stands for. They give the central government logo (Rijkslogo) real meaning. The mission statement expresses the objectives that bind all central government organisations together.
Central government mission statement
Central government is working to achieve a just, enterprising, sustainable society. The Netherlands is a democratic state governed by the rule of law, and it is important for individuals and civil society organisations to be able to flourish in freedom and safety. This requires choices in the Netherlands, in Europe and worldwide. Central government weighs up different interests, invests in the future, and takes action when necessary.
